The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is the open standard that lets AI assistants call external tools. Cinble runs a hosted Meta Ads MCP server, so instead of registering a Meta developer app, generating Marketing API tokens and babysitting a server of your own, you point your assistant at one URL and start asking questions about your campaigns.
The endpoint

Transport is HTTP, and authorization happens through Meta's own login screen the first time you connect: you grant Cinble read access to the ad accounts you choose, and you can revoke it at any time from Meta Business settings or from your Cinble account.

ChatGPT and custom agents
Add the same URL wherever your client registers MCP servers. Anything that speaks MCP over HTTP works, including agents you build yourself with an MCP-compatible SDK.
What you can ask once it is connected
You ask in plain language. The assistant picks the tools it needs, pulls live numbers from your account and answers with the figures it used:

Nothing is copied and pasted, and nothing goes stale between conversations. During early access the assistant recommends the move and leaves the execution to you.

Tool names and arguments are discoverable from the server itself, so the assistant learns the surface on connection. We add tools as the API surface grows; the ones above are what early access ships with.
Permissions and security
- Read-only during early access. No tool in the current set can spend money, pause a campaign or edit a budget. An assistant that misunderstands you cannot cost you anything.
- You choose the accounts. Authorization is per ad account, granted through Meta's own consent screen. Accounts you do not select are invisible to the server.
- Revocable at any time, from Meta Business settings or from Cinble, with no code change on your side.
- Write tools are planned, not default. When budget and status changes arrive, they will be an explicit per-account opt-in with a confirmation step, matching how the Cinble copilot works: it never touches your account on its own.
Hosted versus running your own
Open-source Meta Ads MCP servers exist, and they are a reasonable choice if you want full control of the process. What you take on is the plumbing:

Where the copilot picks up
An MCP connection answers whatever you think to ask. It runs when you are in the chat, which makes it excellent for exploration and analysis on demand. The part it cannot do is watch the account while you are not looking.

What is the Meta Ads MCP server?
