Meta Ads MCP server

Connect your Meta Ads account to Claude Code, Cursor or any MCP client. One Cinble key, no API tokens to manage, read only.

Not available on the Free plan

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is the open standard that lets AI assistants call external tools. Cinble runs a hosted Meta Ads MCP server, so instead of registering a developer app, generating API tokens and babysitting a server of your own, you create a key in Cinble, point your assistant at one URL and start asking questions about your campaigns.

The endpoint

Server URL

https://meta-ads.mcp.cinble.com

Transport is HTTP, and authorization is an access key you create in Cinble, under Connections, MCP. On the key you choose the server, the accounts it can see and when it expires, and you can revoke it at any time: it stops answering immediately. Answers come from what Cinble has already synced from your connected accounts, up to the last complete day.

Early access. We are opening the server in batches to accounts on any paid Cinble plan.

How to connect

Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http meta-ads https://meta-ads.mcp.cinble.com --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY"

Cursor, VS Code and other JSON-configured clients

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "meta-ads": {
      "url": "https://meta-ads.mcp.cinble.com",
      "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_KEY" }
    }
  }
}

Add the block to your client's MCP configuration file, replace YOUR_KEY with the key you created in Cinble and restart it.

Custom agents

Any client that speaks MCP over HTTP and lets you set an authorization header works, including agents you build with an MCP-compatible SDK.

Coming soon. Their custom connectors require an OAuth sign-in, which we are building. Until then, use one of the clients above.

What you can ask once it is connected

You ask in plain language. The assistant picks the tools it needs, reads the numbers Cinble has synced from your account and answers with the figures it used:

Which prospecting campaigns are burning budget without converting?

✓ get_performance meta-ads

Two of your five prospecting campaigns are below break-even over the last 14 days:

Prospecting · LAL 3%ROAS 5.2x
Prospecting · BroadROAS 0.8x
Prospecting · InterestsROAS 0.6x

✓ compare_periods meta-ads

Both slipped after the Jul 28 budget increase, and neither recovered. Together they are spending $112/day at a $94 cost per purchase, against $23 on the lookalike. Pausing them and moving that budget across is the highest-impact move here.

Other questions people bring to it:

"Is Advantage+ Shopping beating my manual sales campaigns on ROAS this month?"

"Which creatives saw their CTR drop over the last two weeks?"

"Break last month's spend down by campaign and flag anything above a $60 cost per purchase."

Nothing is copied and pasted, and the numbers are the same ones on your Cinble dashboard. During early access the assistant recommends the move and leaves the execution to you.

Tools it exposes

Tool What it returns
list_ad_accounts The ad accounts the key can see, with name, ID, currency, time zone and last sync.
list_campaigns Campaigns, with objective, status and budget.
list_creatives The ads themselves: headlines, body copy, destination, format and approval state.
get_performance Spend, impressions, clicks, CTR, CPC, CPM, conversions, cost per conversion and ROAS, as a total and per campaign.
get_timeseries One row per day, to find when something changed.
compare_periods Two date ranges side by side, with deltas already computed.
get_audience_breakdown The numbers by age, gender, region, device or placement.
get_conversion_actions Conversions split by the event that produced them.
get_creative_performance Per-creative results, so the assistant can tell which asset is carrying a campaign.
get_campaign_health A 0 to 100 score per campaign against its own past, naming what is dragging it.

Tool names and arguments are discoverable from the server itself, so the assistant learns the surface on connection. The list above is what early access ships with.

Permissions and security

  • Read-only during early access. No tool in the current set can spend money, pause a campaign or edit a budget. An assistant that misunderstands you cannot cost you anything.
  • You choose the accounts. When you create the key you tick the accounts it can see, or leave it on all of them. Accounts outside the key are invisible to the server.
  • Revocable at any time from Cinble. The key stops answering immediately.
  • Write tools are planned, not default. When they arrive they will be an explicit per-account opt-in with a confirmation step, matching how the Cinble copilot works.

Hosted versus running your own

Open-source servers exist, and they are a reasonable choice if you want full control of the process. What you take on is the plumbing:

Self-hosted Cinble hosted
Meta developer appYou create and maintain itOurs
Access tokensYou generate, store and renew themOne Cinble key, created in one click
Rate limitsYour problem when an assistant gets chattyNone: answers come from Cinble's database
HostingA process you keep aliveNone
Time to first answerAn afternoon, on a good dayCreate a key and paste one command

Where the copilot picks up

An MCP connection answers whatever you think to ask, and runs only while you are in the chat. What it cannot do is watch the account while you are not looking. That is the other half of Cinble: the copilot consolidates the same connected accounts into one panel, reads their history and puts budget moves in front of you ranked by impact.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Meta Ads MCP server?

A hosted Model Context Protocol server run by Cinble that connects your Meta Ads account to AI assistants, so they can read campaigns, creatives, audiences and metrics and answer questions in plain language.

Do I need a Meta Marketing API token?

No. Cinble already syncs the accounts you connected. You create a key in Cinble and connect the assistant with it.

Can the assistant change or pause my campaigns?

Not during early access. The server ships read-only. Write tools are planned later as an explicit per-account opt-in with a confirmation step.

Which AI clients work with it?

Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code and any client that speaks MCP over HTTP and accepts an authorization header. Claude's web connector and ChatGPT require OAuth, which is on its way.

Are the numbers real time?

No. The server reads what Cinble has already synced, up to the last complete day, and every answer says how far the data goes. Today is left out because the platform is still counting it.

How much does it cost?

It comes with any paid Cinble plan, at no extra cost.
